About Pregnancy and Family Support Services
Over the years, the agency has established a significant presence in the inner city. We serve families with multiple needs from multiple locations. We also operate a thrift shop which offers an important service to the community. All revenue generated by the thrift shop goes directly into agency programs and services. Volunteer opportunities are also available for both women and men.
Incorporated as a non-profit organization, the agency is support through private donations, The United Way, Manitoba Child Daycares, The Dept. of Child and Family Support, and through other organized community groups, corporations, and foundations. The Mennonite Central Committee has provided volunteer staff since 1977.
